 • This entirely depends on your final horsepower and reliability goals. If you want a 50 hp gain over the stock setup, odds are you can achieve that without having to tear down the whole motor. If you want a 500 hp gain over the stock setup, you'll certainly want a built motor.
• How can I push more boost out of my vehicle or setup?
 • There are a few ways to do this, depending on your vehicle's current limitations. Some of the limitations your vehicle may have include: boost capacity, knock (based on fuel), fuel system limitations, and even restrictive intake/exhaust systems. Tuning

• When do I need to tune my car? When do I need a re-tune?
 • A tune is recommended whenever you make modifications that affect your vehicle's engine performance. Something small like a performance air filter likely isn't going to need a tune, but more extensive changes like a cold air intake, performance injectors, or an alternative fuel type will require a tune. Similar modifications made after a tune may require a re-tune to function properly.
• Where can I tune my AWD car?
 • Boostin Performance has an in-house MD-AWD-500 Series Mustang Dyno, allowing us to tune your vehicle regardless of drivetrain setup.
• Do I need a standalone ECU to get a tune? Can a stock ECU be tuned?
 • It depends on the vehicle you're looking to get tuned and the extent to which you're looking to tune it. Some stock ECUs can be re-flashed, but not all. Additionally, if you want to have multiple tunes for different fuels or boost levels, you're going to best off with a standalone ECU.
• Can I tune for a different fuel? What about a different boost level?
