The lower intercooler piping is possibly the biggest restriction in the intercooler system on the Evo. Just by installing this ETS Lower Intercooler Piping Kit, you can expect to see horsepower gains of around 12HP, as compared to 7-9HP gains typically seen with other LICP Kits available on the market. This LICP also reduces the lag time on initial spool up, and also improves the transient response between gears. The key to this increased power output is the smooth and fast transition from 1.8" to 2.5" at the turbo outlet.
