Please do NOT order this cable unless you KNOW what you're doing. You can not reprogram your factory EPROM chip with this cable. You can not use this cable with a variety of other software packages. And you can not use this cable to replace your lost 2G V1/V2 cable.

These diagnostic cables are a custom native USB-based solution with direct connections to the car's diagnostic connector all in a complete molded package. These cables connect to the laptop's USB interface on one end and to the car's OBD1 or OBD2 connector on the other.
Internally, the board design has complete opto-isolation between the car and laptop (ensuring no possible damage on either side from the other) and is entirely assembled with surface mount components. So, basically, these are top quality cables; literally the best we think can be built.
