**Boostin Performance Stage 3 Short Block** (DSM) - 2.0 Long Rod
Customer must supply good, usable engine core with a good, usable block and crank.

The foundation of the Boostin Performance short block is a freshly decked, bored, and honed engine block. ARP main studs are installed and the mains are then line honed. The crankshaft is Magnafluxed, balanced, and polished to a mirror finish.
What sets our motors apart from the competition, is our precise machining, attention to detail, and some special tricks we have learned along the way!
Our Boostin Performance 2.0LR (Long Rod) Short Blocks are the ultimate high revving 4G63 option. By increasing the rod length by 6mm the rod ratio is improved, and there is less side loading on the cylinder walls. The connecting rod transfers power to the crankshaft at a more optimal angle when compared to a standard 2.0L. For 9500+ RPM "race" applications, our Aluminum Rod option is recommended and comes fitted with L19 rod bolts for an extra cost.

Oil Pan - OEM Mitsubishi Strainer/Pick-up (7-Bolt DSM)
