**Boostin Performance Stage 3 Short Block** (Evo 8/9) - 2.0L


 
**Customer must supply good, usable engine core with a good, usable block and crank. If a new block is needed, a core charge of $2047.89 applies, and gets you a brand new OEM 4G63 block. If you also need a crankshaft, a core charge of $1002 also applies, and gets you a brand new OEM 2.0L crankshaft.

**Pricing DOES NOT include the Front Case/Oil Pump. Pricing subject to change.

The foundation of our Boostin Performance Short Block is a freshly decked, bored, and honed engine block. ARP Main Studs are installed and the mains are then line honed. The crankshaft is Magnafluxed, balanced, and polished to a mirror finish.
What sets our motors apart from the competition, is our precise machining, attention to detail, and some special tricks we have learned along the way!

Our Boostin Performance 2.0L Short Blocks have gone 8's in both our shop vehicle, the Red Demon (2G DSM) and in Kristin's former daily driven Evo 9 (Demonette), with trap speeds in the 170's and power levels over 1,000 HP.
For 9500+ RPM "race" applications, our Aluminum Rod option is recommended and comes fitted with L19 rod bolts for an extra cost.


Please specify in the NOTES of your order what compression ratio you'd like, as compression ratio's are available between 9.1 - 11.5:1.
